Medical Practitioner – Oral and Maxillofacial (OMF)

About the role

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is seeking a compassionate physician to provide primary care for patients with injuries and common illnesses, focusing on oral and maxillofacial health.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories, address concerns and answer questions.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders; prescribe medications and therapies.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results to patients.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and design individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists, and work with nurses and healthcare staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree with successful completion of residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, compassionate and willing to stay current with medical advancements.
