Physiotherapist

About the role

The Physiotherapist will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients of all ages with physical difficulties arising from illness, injury, disability or ageing. The role involves developing individualized rehabilitation programs and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify physical problems and devise appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and modalities such as ultrasound.
• Supervise physiotherapy assistants and ensure accurate patient documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to education programs.
• Maintain equipment, report adverse events and support a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Valid DOH (HAAD) license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• Graduate from an approved physiotherapy program with at least 2 years of experience in a JCI‑accredited hospital.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hospital setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Experience using ultrasound and other physiotherapy equipment.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
