MEP Project Manager – Large‑Scale Construction

About the role

ASU is seeking a high‑caliber MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, large‑scale construction projects across the UAE. The role demands end‑to‑end project execution, commercial management, and strong stakeholder leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full MEP project lifecycle from planning through testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cash‑flow management and cost optimisation.
• Oversee design reviews, IFC drawings, technical submissions and method statements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment.
• Monitor progress, productivity and milestones to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Manage claims, variations and final accounts to maximise commercial performance.
• Enforce strict HSE, QA/QC and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary site teams, resolve technical challenges and handle RFIs.
• Supervise inspections, testing, authority approvals and final commissioning.

Required profile

• 15–20+ years of progressive MEP construction experience in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record with top‑tier MEP contractors on high‑rise, hospitality, infrastructure and mixed‑use projects.
• Deep expertise in full project lifecycle management (pre‑ and post‑contract).
• Strong command of FIDIC contracts, claims, variations and commercial controls.
• Solid understanding of UAE authority regulations, codes, approvals and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership of large multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and multiple work fronts.
