Merchandise Operations Executive (Contract)

About the role

The Merchandise Operations Executive will ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of merchandising processes. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, the role focuses on accurate information flow, timely deliveries and continuous efficiency improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to support timely deliveries and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Build strong vendor relationships, resolve operational issues promptly, and assist in negotiating favourable terms.
• Verify supplier order confirmations for accuracy and collaborate with Buying, Finance and supplier teams to resolve queries within deadlines.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Merchandising team and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Buying, Planning, Trade, Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and business initiatives.
• Provide accurate and timely information required by the Finance team.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail combined with confident stakeholder management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage vendor relationships.
