Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

About the role

An experienced, hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect is sought to lead the architecture, technical design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 solutions. The role suits someone with strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Commerce and/or Customer Engagement (CE), combined with hands-on development and technical leadership experience. It is an onsite position in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for Dynamics 365 F&O, SCM, Commerce and/or CE, and translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
• Lead solution design, technical implementation, deployment and go-live for enterprise-scale projects.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in X++, C#, customisations, extensions and development frameworks.
• Design integrations using REST APIs, OData, Business Events, dual-write, custom services and virtual entities, and use Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management).
• Oversee data migration with the Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF) and troubleshoot performance issues in batch jobs, databases, queries and APIs.
• Set up production support, incident management, monitoring and performance optimisation, and define security architecture with security roles, duties, privileges, XDS and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Drive application modernisation, One Version updates, release management and technical debt reduction, and use Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
• Manage technical documentation, architecture reviews, development standards and Azure DevOps CI/CD, and mentor technical consultants and developers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall experience in application development, technical architecture or enterprise systems delivery.
• 5+ years in Dynamics 365 solution architecture or lead technical architecture.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations from design through deployment and go-live.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365 F&O, SCM, Commerce and/or CE architecture, with hands-on X++, C# and customisation frameworks.
• Enterprise integrations, Azure Integration Services, DMF/DIXF and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Dynamics 365 security, RBAC, XDS and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, LCS and PPAC.
• Performance tuning, batch job optimisation and production support.

Good to have: experience in retail, e-commerce, hospitality or supply chain, large-scale enterprise implementations, FastTrack and Microsoft Support, One Version updates, and modernising legacy customisations.
