About the role
An American school in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified Middle/High School Social Studies Teacher to deliver US‑curriculum lessons and support student development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Social Studies lessons to middle and high school students in line with the US curriculum.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons to meet diverse student needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high academic standards.
Required profile
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science or related field.
- PGCE, PGDE or B.Ed and a valid teaching license (US, UK QTS or MoE).
- Minimum 3 years full‑time teaching experience in middle or secondary school.
- Available to join immediately.
