ML QA Engineer

About the role

Inception42, part of G42, seeks a QA Engineer to validate AI‑enabled financial applications and enterprise platforms. You will design and execute both manual and automated tests, turning product requirements into measurable acceptance criteria and ensuring quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute risk‑based test plans covering functional, integration, regression, usability, accessibility and performance testing.
• Validate AI behavior such as response relevance, conversational context, document ingestion, and tool orchestration against approved scenarios.
• Build and maintain automation for UI, API, integration and data validation using established frameworks.
• Integrate automated smoke and regression tests into CI/CD pipelines and report results in Azure DevOps.
• Validate financial calculations, reconciliations, reporting, access controls and audit trails across AI‑assisted workflows.
• Own defect documentation, triage, retesting and collaborate on root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in software quality, test design, exploratory testing and risk‑based coverage.
• Experience testing production web or cloud applications across UI, API and end‑to‑end workflows.
• Hands‑on experience building automated tests with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured or Postman.
• Proficiency in at least one test‑automation language such as Python, TypeScript or Java.
• Strong SQL skills for data verification and familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.
