Multi Threat Radar Field Engineer

About the role

As a Multi Threat Radar Field Engineer you will be responsible for bringing advanced radar systems into operational service for defence customers. You will work at the intersection of engineering and deployment, handling integration, commissioning, testing and on‑site support across factory, customer and operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute radar system commissioning, including Setting to Work, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and environmental/EMI‑EMC testing.
• Perform field integration activities, on‑site engineering tasks and hands‑on troubleshooting of hardware, software, RF, power and network issues.
• Validate system performance under operational conditions and analyse radar logs and signal data using automation tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, procedures and detailed customer reports.
• Provide on‑site integration, testing and training support, with travel to military bases and international locations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in radar integration or field engineering.
• Extensive experience with FAT/SAT, environmental and EMI/EMC testing, and on‑site system validation.
• Proven ability to work with defence customers and understand MIL‑STD qualification processes.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective teamwork across multidisciplinary groups (RF, hardware, software, systems).
