Multimodal Business Development Manager

About the role

The Multimodal Business Development Manager will develop and expand Elite Co’s multimodal services, focusing on converting Less‑than‑Container Load (LCL) shipments onto the road network. The role drives growth by establishing market presence, securing new business, and expanding existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for LCL‑FTL multimodal services, building a robust pipeline of prospects.
• Manage sales and account relationships, customizing logistics solutions and providing end‑to‑end client support.
• Collaborate with operations to design scalable multimodal transportation solutions across sea and land.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain in the UAE/GCC.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas and build strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of sea freight and development of LCL services.
• Expertise in LCL and FTL transportation logistics and multimodal solutions.
• Understanding of UAE and regional market dynamics.
