Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves ensuring high‑availability, security and performance of all network services while collaborating with telecom providers and cybersecurity teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer LAN, WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN and network‑security components within the approved scope.
• Monitor network health, capacity and availability; respond to alerts, incidents and performance degradation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across offices, data centres, hosted environments and external services.
• Coordinate approved changes with telecom providers, TDRA and other relevant parties.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, inventories, backups and operational runbooks.
• Support firewall‑rule, segmentation and secure‑connectivity activities in partnership with the cybersecurity team.
• Contribute to resilience, capacity, failover and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for critical network incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, wireless, VPN, firewalls and network monitoring.
• CCNP or equivalent certification preferred; CCIE is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto or comparable security platforms.
• Proven incident‑troubleshooting ability and clear technical documentation skills.
