Night Manager - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

Hilton is hiring a Night Manager for its Waldorf Astoria hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. The Night Manager oversees overnight hotel operations, acts as Manager-On-Duty and ensures guest satisfaction and safety throughout the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise full hotel authority in the absence of the General Manager during the night shift
• Serve as Manager-On-Duty, resolving guest and team member issues and ensuring quality appearance, cleanliness and lighting
• Report deficiencies and safety hazards to the engineer on duty and follow up until they are fixed
• Oversee daily summary reports, the shift closing of Front Desk Agents and Supervisors, and the handover to the morning shift
• Identify discrepancies, give constructive feedback, training and coaching, and report recurring errors to the Front Office Manager
• Supervise and train night Guest Services Agents, and maintain overall supervision of all night shift team members
• Act as FPG Champion, ensuring team members have the tools needed for successful upselling
• Take part in probation and annual reviews, and handle emergencies and guest relocations when needed

Required profile

• Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with guests and team members, including those who are angry
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Knowledge of hotel operations and of handling hotel emergencies
