Nursery Teacher – Early Years Foundation Stage

About the role

Emirates British Nursery is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Teachers to join its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in Dubai. You will work with children aged 0‑5, delivering a balanced curriculum that supports their physical, emotional and educational development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver educational activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure the safety, welfare and health of all children in the nursery.
• Promote independent learning and inclusion for every child.
• Monitor, assess and record each child’s progress using the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Prepare reports on children’s development and participate in assessment processes.
• Maintain a high standard of care and adhere to health, safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with management and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a Level III vocational certificate, or a high school diploma with a Level III vocational certificate and at least two years of relevant experience.
• Native‑level proficiency in English.
• Current residence in Dubai or willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Ability to plan and execute age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Strong observation and record‑keeping skills for child development tracking.
