Nursery Teacher – Early Years Foundation Stage

About the role

Emirates British Nursery is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join its early years team in Dubai. You will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, delivering a balanced curriculum that supports children’s physical, emotional and educational development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate learning activities that promote independent learning.
• Ensure the safety, welfare and health of all children at all times.
• Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of each child, encouraging inclusion.
• Monitor, assess and record individual progress using the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Prepare reports on children’s development and participate in assessment processes.
• Maintain a high standard of care in line with EYFS guidelines.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood, Education or related field **or** high school diploma with a Level 3 vocational certificate in early childhood care.
• At least two years of experience in a childcare or early years setting (required for diploma holders).
• Native‑level proficiency in English.
• Currently residing in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ability to use the Learning and Development Profile Book for assessment.
