OCTG Inspector – Inspection & Verification Services

About the role

The OCTG Inspector will join the Inspection and Verification Services (IVS) department to ensure that casing and tubing products meet industry standards. Reporting to the IVS Manager, the role involves on‑site inspections, documentation, and coordination with production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of OCTG products (casing and tubing) according to specifications.
• Review and verify NDT and other test results, maintaining accurate records.
• Witness and certify special tests required by clients.
• Identify non‑conformances and work with production to implement corrective actions.
• Oversee field inspections, including loading and unloading of OCTG shipments.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection and certification of OCTG or NDT.
• DS‑1 NDT certification or equivalent client‑approved training.
• Strong knowledge of OCTG equipment fundamentals (onshore/offshore).
