Odoo Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to design, build, and customize Odoo modules for a diverse portfolio of UAE clients in manufacturing, real estate, distribution, and e‑commerce. The role involves translating business requirements into clean, maintainable code and ensuring seamless integration with third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new Odoo modules and adapt existing ones to meet client specifications.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and deploy solutions via Odoo.sh.
• Integrate Odoo with external platforms such as Shopify, payment gateways, e‑invoicing, and banking systems.
• Collaborate directly with implementation consultants to convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance shared internal libraries used across multiple ARMOR Group companies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional Python development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience building Odoo modules (versions 15‑18).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and indexing.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Odoo framework (v15‑v18) and Odoo.sh deployment.
• PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• JavaScript and Odoo’s OWL frontend framework.
• Git version control workflow.
• Linux administration, Docker basics, and CI/CD pipelines.
