OneStream Operations Specialist

About the role

Damen Shipyards Group, a leading international shipbuilder with more than 35 shipyards, repair yards and related companies worldwide, is hiring a OneStream Operations Specialist in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the FP&A Systems Manager within the OneStream Team of Group Control, the specialist manages and optimizes the OneStream platform, which supports financial consolidation, reporting and planning. The role works closely with Finance, IT and Data & Analytics teams and acts as a bridge between business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for users (helpdesk), resolving incidents and handling user requests
• Monitor data loads, consolidations and workflows, and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, as well as forecast and budgeting cycles
• Manage users, roles and access rights
• Perform small system changes such as configuration and metadata updates, maintain cubes, dimensions and mappings, and support releases, updates and testing
• Identify and resolve performance issues
• Monitor data quality, run reconciliations, oversee integrations with source systems (e.g. ERP) and resolve data inconsistencies
• Support and train users, coordinate with Finance and IT, document solutions and share best practice
• Improve the process by identifying root causes, automating manual steps, standardizing templates and applying small improvements from user feedback

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or similar
• 3-6 years of excellent experience in OneStream
• Understanding of financial consolidation, reporting and planning processes
• Knowledge of consolidation rules and accounting principles (IFRS/Dutch GAAP)
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
