Operational Buyer

About the role

We are looking for an Operational Buyer to ensure customer satisfaction by managing the end‑to‑end procurement process, from order entry through project commissioning. The role supports repeatable business by guaranteeing material availability, on‑time delivery and compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions accurately and convert them into compliant purchase orders.
• Proactively manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers and align deliveries with production schedules and project requirements.
• Monitor order confirmations, track goods receipt and support invoice verification to ensure financial accuracy.
• Identify and resolve deviations related to cost, quality, delivery or specifications through structured communication with suppliers.
• Contribute to supplier performance management and risk mitigation using SAP and SAP Ariba.

Required profile

• Background in commercial or technical fields with purchasing experience.
• 5+ years of experience in operational purchasing or a comparable role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (especially SAP MM).
• Detail‑oriented, independent and problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, compliance and ethics.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
