Operations Cost & Performance Manager

About the role

The Operations Cost & Performance Manager is a core member of Mumzworld's Logistics team, responsible for controlling costs and driving performance across the e‑commerce operation. You will turn data‑driven analysis into concrete savings, optimise processes and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse logistics and operations costs, identify drivers and quantify efficiency opportunities.
• Lead optimisation and automation projects from concept through implementation.
• Prepare month‑end cost accruals and ensure financial accuracy.
• Produce monthly KPI scorecards, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan manpower and capacity for peak periods, balancing volume and cost.
• Develop vendor cost strategies, negotiate contracts and manage risk.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in operations cost control, logistics finance or operational excellence.
• Proven track record of converting analysis into implemented cost‑saving initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, Procurement and Legal.
