Operations Manager, ADGM

About the role

Coinbase is looking for an Operations Manager to scale its regulated presence in Abu Dhabi. Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Officer, you will drive operational excellence across trading, staking and custody services in one of the fastest‑growing crypto markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Executive Officer in overseeing operational functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and contractual obligations.
• Implement operational policies, SLA frameworks and risk‑management processes across core business workstreams.
• Establish supervision frameworks for trading, staking and custody operations in line with regulatory best practices.
• Build resilience frameworks, including risk identification, contingency planning and vulnerability mitigation.
• Coordinate incident response, communicating with internal stakeholders, regulators and third‑party providers.
• Develop and manage relationships with banks, regulators and internal teams to communicate operational and risk strategies.
• Project‑manage cross‑functional initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product and Customer Service.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Middle East financial services, management consulting or operations strategy.
• Background in a regulated investment dealer environment with focus on trade supervision (crypto, equities or derivatives).
• Proven ability to design new processes and improve existing workflows for operational efficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills across senior management and multiple business functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with regulatory compliance and trade supervision.
• Familiarity with crypto/Web3 markets and tokenization.
• Responsible use of AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
