Operations Manager – Airport Operations (Emiratisation)

About the role

dnata is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead airport operations across Dubai Airport, Al Maktoum Airport and dnata Cargo. The role acts as the central point of contact within the Airport Operations Control Centre and Emirates Network Control Centre, ensuring seamless service delivery, safety, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review and adjust operational plans to meet business needs, anticipate disruptions and guide corrective actions.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct briefings, enforce compliance and ensure staff are equipped to work safely.
• Manage daily operations, accurate reporting, optimal resource allocation and adherence to standards.
• Oversee emergency response procedures, lead post‑incident reviews and implement improvements.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to meet service level agreements.
• Conduct regular inspections and safety checks across airside, landside and facilities.
• Monitor data sources to forecast disruptions, resolve time‑critical issues and implement business continuity plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in airport operations or a related aviation environment.
• Proven leadership in managing multi‑site operations and emergency response.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards and operational best practices.
