Operations Manager – Portable Cabins

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of portable cabins across multiple project sites. This role ensures cabins are delivered, installed, and returned safely while meeting client expectations and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the deployment of portable cabins based on project requirements.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and dismantling of cabins on site.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with logistics, yard, and site teams for timely mobilization and demobilization.
• Monitor project timelines, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Allocate and supervise blue‑collar workforce including technicians, helpers, and drivers.
• Track asset movement, condition, and availability across sites and yard.
• Oversee return, inspection, repair, and readiness of cabins for future use.
• Maintain yard discipline, safe storage, and asset preservation during off‑season.
• Address client or site issues to ensure service quality and timely resolution.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements for cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in site operations, rental, construction or facilities management.
• Experience handling portable cabins or modular units preferred.
• Strong background in managing blue‑collar workforces, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven ability to write business plans and contribute to company strategy.

• Basic technical understanding of cabins and site utilities.
