Operations Project Coordinator

About the role

Jifmar, a worldwide maritime operator that chartered workboats and supports clients' maritime projects since 2005, is looking for an Operations Project Coordinator in Dubai. You will act as the link between clients, vessels, crews, technical teams and support departments, helping prepare, coordinate and execute offshore and maritime projects safely, on time and within budget. The position is offered under a local UAE employment contract.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the operational preparation and execution of projects, in line with contracts, schedules and client expectations.
• Monitor project costs and budget performance, supporting commercial and operational teams in keeping projects profitable.
• Act as main contact for clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders during project execution.
• Coordinate vessel, crew, equipment and subcontractor mobilizations to ensure operational readiness.
• Follow up project documentation, reporting and operational data kept in company systems.
• Help crews and project teams resolve day-to-day issues and escalate problems when needed.
• Work with Crewing, Technical, QHSSE, Commercial and Finance teams; assist with invoicing and administrative follow-up.
• Contribute to improving operational processes and project management practices, and take part in client meetings, project reviews and debriefs.

Required profile

• Degree in Maritime Operations, Shipping, Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in maritime, offshore, logistics, project coordination or operational support roles.
• Knowledge of maritime operations and project execution is an asset; experience in the Middle East maritime sector is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle several priorities at once, and willing to travel occasionally to vessels or project sites.

Required skills

• Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Natural leader, strong communicator and problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
• Commercially minded and comfortable in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
