Outsourced Workshop Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Outsourced Workshop Coordinator to join our client’s logistics team in the United Arab Emirates for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role focuses on overseeing workshop activities, ensuring fleet and material handling equipment (MHE) are maintained efficiently, and supporting compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, manage job cards and repair prioritisation.
• Support fleet and MHE performance monitoring and coordinate breakdown recovery.
• Source spare parts, manage vendor relationships, maintain inventory and process purchase requisitions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, including RTA registrations, insurance, permits, and handle invoicing, monthly accruals, petty cash and traffic fines.
• Liaise between drivers, mechanics and the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in workshop coordination, fleet or transport operations, preferably within FMCG or logistics.
• Hands‑on experience with workshop documentation and fleet management systems (ERP/FMS).
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic and RTA regulations.
