Painter for Luxury Hotel

About the role

The hotel is seeking an experienced painter to maintain and refresh guest rooms, villas, public areas and external surfaces, ensuring the property meets five‑star quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks/holes and removing old paint.
• Apply emulsion, enamel, textured, epoxy, waterproof and other approved finishes.
• Perform touch‑up, corrective painting and colour matching during maintenance and renovation projects.
• Protect furniture, flooring and fixtures, and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and report major issues such as water leakage or mould.

Required profile

• High school education or relevant vocational/trade qualification.
• 2–3 years of painting experience, preferably in a five‑star hotel or luxury resort.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and safe handling of paints and chemicals.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather and perform rescues if needed.

Required skills

• Surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, filling, scraping).
• Application of emulsion, enamel, textured, epoxy and waterproof paints.
• Use of painting tools, equipment and ladders.
• Safe storage and handling of paint, chemicals and PPE.
