Paralegal or Junior Lawyer

About the role

Kennedys is seeking a Paralegal or Junior Lawyer to join its Insurance team in Dubai. The role offers exposure to medical malpractice, aviation, and corporate & commercial matters across the Middle East, supporting senior lawyers in delivering high‑quality legal services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assistance with a busy caseload under supervision, including client registration and due‑diligence procedures.
• Carry out conflict searches, open new matters in firm systems, and maintain matter lists.
• Coordinate preparation of bundles, indices and exhibits for litigation.
• Undertake legal and commercial research and support business development activities.
• Collaborate with partners, fee earners and support staff to ensure efficient team operations.

Required profile

• Newly qualified lawyer or paralegal with at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in insurance, litigation or claims work.
• Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence, with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively within a team and maintain confidentiality.
• Bilingual English and Arabic skills are advantageous.
