Parts Picker - BYD

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is hiring a Parts Picker for its BYD franchise in Dubai. The role supports efficient parts operations by picking, receiving, storing and issuing automotive parts, keeping stock accurate so that Sales and Service teams can get what they need on time. It sits within the Aftersales team and works closely with Sales, Service, internal parts stakeholders and brand representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual and annual stock inventory, ensuring enough supply for market needs and avoiding overstock.
• Assist Sales and Service departments in maximizing accessories stock.
• Process purchase orders, goods receipt and invoice verification on time and to company standards.
• Procure cost-effective parts for vehicle service, repair and refurbishment, including used vehicle refurbishment, and expand stock levels on service-related items.
• Manage and maintain the physical parts storage at the service location.
• Liaise with internal parts stakeholders and brand representatives, and create up-to-date reporting and forward stock planning programs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Automotive Parts Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3 years' experience in automotive parts picking, receiving, binning and issuing.
• Experience conducting stock counts and investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to coordinate with Sales and Service teams and prioritize parts requests in a busy environment.

Required skills

• Accurate automotive parts identification, picking, receiving, binning and issuing.
• Stock control: cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and discrepancy investigation.
• Proficiency in electronic parts catalogues, inventory or dealer management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of purchase orders, goods receipt and invoice verification.
• Knowledge of safe material handling, storage and housekeeping practices.
