Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth navigation through the hospital and accurate handling of appointments, billing, and insurance matters. This role supports both clinical and administrative teams to maintain high standards of patient service and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine information.
• Handle telephone inquiries, schedule appointments, manage no‑shows and rescheduling.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up to date.
• Provide insurance coverage information, collect co‑payments, and issue claim forms.
• Facilitate daily cash, credit‑card and cheque collections and ensure accurate end‑of‑shift processing.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules and doctor rosters.
• Generate and process patient invoices, ensuring correct coding and compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
• Respond to emails and complaints promptly, adhering to hospital policies and NMC/JCI regulations.
• Support continuous quality improvement and participate in training programs.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or related field.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems and finance protocols.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to NMC, infection‑control and patient‑safety regulations.
