About the role
The Patient Administrator – IVF supports high‑quality patient care by handling appointment scheduling, registration, insurance processing, billing and customer service for the IVF clinic.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration efficiently.
- Handle medical insurance processes and related tasks.
- Oversee billing and cash‑up procedures.
- Consistently meet customer service expectations to improve patient service quality.
Required profile
- Completed secondary school education (Grade 12); a tertiary diploma or bachelor’s degree in medical science, finance or accounting is preferred.
- 2–3 years of customer‑service experience, preferably in the healthcare sector; experience in a contact centre or healthcare environment is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes.
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Numerical literacy and patient scheduling/registration processes.
