People Services Advisor - Middle East (FTC)

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for a People Services Advisor to join its Dubai team, covering the UAE and Kuwait. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract in a hybrid arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). The role delivers first-line HR support and administration to employees and managers, ensuring an excellent employee experience and compliance with local labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for regional HR enquiries, manage ticket escalations on the case management platform and resolve issues or direct them to specialist teams.
• Manage onboarding (contracts, visa support, insurance), offboarding and core data changes in Workday, and support monthly payroll preparation and issuance of official documents.
• Handle visa applications, renewals, quota submissions and compliance requirements such as OHC medicals and unemployment insurance, working with immigration providers and government relations.
• Maintain compliance with UAE and Kuwait labour laws, company policies and data protection standards.
• Identify ways to simplify HR procedures, use technology and AI to remove inefficiencies, and deliver people analytics dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR administration or People Services role, ideally in the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law under MOHRE and hands-on experience with regional visa and sponsorship processes.
• Demonstrated experience using Workday (or a similar enterprise HRIS) for data management and lifecycle processing.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multi-channel queries.
• Excellent written and verbal English; professional Arabic is a plus.
