Physician Assistant – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. Working under the supervision of licensed physicians, you will deliver high‑quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations under physician supervision.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical investigations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform approved clinical procedures such as wound care, suturing, catheterisation, venipuncture, arterial blood‑gas sampling, and ECG interpretation.
• Assist in emergency stabilisation, participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with infection‑prevention and patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a recognised institution.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant and a valid DOH licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work within the approved scope of practice.
