Physics Teacher (Year 7-13)

About the role

Repton Al Barsha, a Cognita school in the Dubai Science Park, Barsha South, is recruiting a Physics Teacher to start in January 2027. The school currently teaches from Nursery to Year 11 and is growing through to Year 13. The successful candidate will deliver physics in KS3, with GCSE and A Levels in KS4 and KS5.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physics lessons in KS3, KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A Levels.
• Inspire and motivate students of diverse talents and abilities, promoting a love of learning.
• Teach from Year 7 to Year 13, in line with the school's high expectations of attainment and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree plus QTS and PGCE; for specialist teachers the degree must be in a directly related field.
• Ability to teach through KS3-5, including IB and A Level.
• Experience of GCSE and A Level teaching.
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Willingness to teach from Year 7 to Year 13.
