PMC Engineering Manager Offshore (Gas Cap)

About the role

This senior position leads all offshore engineering disciplines for a high‑profile gas cap project in the Middle East, ensuring deliverables meet client specifications, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications engineering teams.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with contract requirements, international codes, standards and best practices.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and support key project gates and readiness reviews.
• Oversee design optimisation, 3D modelling, HAZID and PHA workshops and ensure quality of outputs.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop ADNOC engineering staff assigned to the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s in management preferred).
• 20+ years of oil & gas experience across engineering, procurement and construction, with at least 10 years as an Engineering Manager.
• Proven experience with major EPC contracts, contractor and supplier management worldwide.
• Strong decision‑making, communication and team‑leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Extensive FEED experience on large‑scale Middle East projects.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards relevant to offshore oil & gas.
• Experience with HAZID, PHA, 3D modelling and design optimisation.
• Familiarity with vendor pre‑qualification, bid evaluation and performance assessment.
