PMC HSE Manager (Gas Cap)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC HSE Manager (Gas Cap) to lead the implementation of HSE philosophy, objectives and management system for an ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture and achieving zero lost‑time incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the project HSE program, coordinating with shareholders, EPC contractors and subcontractors.
• Drive HSE excellence through senior management visibility and engagement.
• Establish and lead regular Safety Steering Team meetings with major contractors.
• Maintain communication with ADNOC Offshore Corporate HSE and regulatory authorities.
• Implement best‑practice HSE procedures and recommend necessary staff resources.
• Develop and implement a project‑specific Risk Assessment Management System (RAMS).
• Ensure HSE requirements are included in tender packages and review contractor HSE plans.

Required profile

• B.S. in Engineering with at least 20 years of industry experience, including 8 years in project‑related activities.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience and 7 years in supervisory/managerial roles.
• Experience in process safety, construction safety, brownfield modification and offshore operations.
