Pool Attendant – Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

The Pool Attendant – Recreation Experience Expert will be the primary point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities in Dubai Marina. You will ensure a safe, enjoyable and seamless experience across the pool, beach, fitness centre, game‑room and children’s activity areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information about all recreation amenities and guide guests on usage.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for pool and other leisure activities.
• Enforce safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle cash and process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees and retail sales using the POS system.
• Assist with private functions and group events held in recreation spaces.
• Offer first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of pools, equipment and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Deliver courteous service, welcome guests, and support individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and to lift or move equipment as needed.
• Ability to recognise unsafe situations and act promptly.
• Willingness to follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required skills

• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and information retrieval.
