Pool & Beach Attendant

About the role

The Pool & Beach Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for guests enjoying the resort’s aquatic and beachfront facilities. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment while providing information, assistance, and support for a wide range of recreational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guests with information about pool, beach, fitness, game‑room, and children’s activity areas.
• Encourage participation, register guests, and schedule activities while promoting safety rules.
• Monitor the facilities, respond to emergencies according to local procedures, and assist injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions for equipment rentals, activity fees, and retail sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of pools, beach areas, equipment, and related supplies.
• Support private functions and group events held within the recreation spaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Any additional certifications required by local or state agencies.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb unassisted (heavier items with assistance).
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance, and commitment to confidentiality.
