Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will support Gutor's sales team in the MEA region by preparing technical and commercial proposals for industrial UPS solutions. This role involves creating compliant offers, leading technical discussions with customers, and ensuring successful tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercial and technical proposals that meet project specifications and company guidelines.
• Analyse offers, perform costing, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Attend technical bid clarification meetings and lead discussions to position Gutor’s solution as the best fit.
• Support customers during the FEED stage, qualifying Gutor solutions as design references.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the Quote‑to‑Win process and hand over projects to execution teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, providing support to project managers and design engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, sales, engineering or project execution.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with strong initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a competitive, win‑oriented attitude.
