Primary Teacher - Jan 2027 Start

About the role

International Schools Partnership (ISP) is recruiting a primary teacher in Dubai for a position starting in January 2027. The role centres on learning and teaching, with a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, safeguarding and the inclusion of UAE heritage and culture in the curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage students to become confident, independent lifelong learners and use subject knowledge and interpersonal skills to make learning engaging.
• Use ICT and new technologies to improve teaching and learning for students of all ages and attainment levels.
• Plan lessons that take account of each student's individual needs, learning style, preferences and capabilities.
• Promote students' intellectual, moral, spiritual, cultural, physical and personal development and give them guidance on educational and social matters.
• Embed UAE heritage and culture within the curriculum.
• Work with the Head of School and colleagues on courses of study, teaching materials, schemes, methods, assessment and pastoral arrangements.

Required profile

• Relevant UK teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd or BA/BSc plus PGCE/QTS in Primary education.
• A minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British school, international or in the UK; strong NQTs will also be considered.
• Excellent working knowledge of the UK Curriculum and its latest practices.
• Experience working with EAL, ELL and SEND students.
• All post holders must undergo vetting, including an online due diligence search, references and criminal background checks covering the previous 10 years.
