Primary Teacher – Term 2 (AY26/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for Term 2 (AY26/27) in Abu Dhabi. Candidates must have solid knowledge of the English National Curriculum and a proven track record of raising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices that reflect the school’s vision and high standards.
• Establish, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term plans for departmental development.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted action plans, including support for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL learners.
• Set expectations for staff, evaluate teaching quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage team performance, allocate resources efficiently and oversee department budgets.

Required profile

• Secure knowledge of teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Proven ability to implement effective strategies that raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Leadership experience at various levels and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Alignment with Aldar’s core values and genuine appreciation of regional cultural values.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
