Principal Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to lead the design of advanced electronic digital hardware in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on high‑speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe and Ethernet, and requires deep expertise in PCB layout, EMI/EMC compliance and system‑level integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop digital hardware architectures and subsystems.
• Create high‑speed PCB layouts and schematics for DDR, PCIe and Ethernet interfaces.
• Apply EMI/EMC methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate hardware performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in high‑speed design.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic digital hardware design.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with high‑speed digital and EMI/EMC applications.
• Degree in Electronic Engineering (Bachelor, Honours or Masters).
• Proven track record with DDR, PCIe, Ethernet and high‑speed PCB layout.
