Principal – Innovation Lab Lead

About the role

New Metrics is seeking a senior Principal to establish, lead, and scale the NM Innovation Lab. The lab will operate in a hybrid, mobile model, delivering client‑facing solutions that combine design thinking, emerging technologies and consulting expertise across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Define and run the Innovation Lab, creating engagement formats, methodologies and toolkits.
• Design and launch an Emerging Technologies practice (AI, AR/VR, Web3) including use cases, commercial models and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Develop integrated offerings that blend consulting, experience design, technology, analytics and capability‑building.
• Lead structured ideation, problem‑framing and co‑creation sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating client challenges into clear transformation programmes.
• Shape and co‑own large, complex engagements for public and private sector clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting, innovation or technology‑focused roles.
• Proven track record of building and scaling new practice areas or labs.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑centric environment across the GCC.
