Process Engineer – Petrochemical/Refinery Projects

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team for a PMC‑EPC petrochemical and refinery project. The role involves delivering engineering solutions across the asset life‑cycle, supporting sustainability goals and ensuring project success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for petrochemical and refinery EPC projects.
• Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders, including ADNOC.
• Support project management consultancy (PMC) functions and ensure compliance with project schedules and standards.
• Provide technical expertise for chlor‑alkali, PVC, and EDC‑VCM plant sections when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• At least 3 years in petrochemical or refinery projects.
• Experience in EPC and detailed engineering environments; PMC experience is a plus.
• Prior involvement in ADNOC projects is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
