Processing Team Leader – Meat Processing Unit

About the role

The Processing Team Leader will oversee daily production activities in the meat processing unit, ensuring efficient workflow, high‑quality output and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role coordinates staff, monitors performance and drives continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet GMG’s quality and safety standards.
• Supervise the processing team, ensure production targets are met and address operational disruptions.
• Perform quality checks, report deviations and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to resolve issues.
• Manage equipment usage, report maintenance needs and ensure safe operation practices.
• Track daily production metrics, maintain accurate records and communicate updates to management.
• Train new staff on SOPs, equipment handling, sanitation and hygiene practices.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in food processing.
• Diploma in Production Management.
• Certification in Food Safety & Quality Control.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
