Procurement Engineer – Civil

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer – Civil to lead the sourcing and procurement of civil construction materials, equipment and subcontracted works for our projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on timely delivery, cost optimisation and strict adherence to project specifications and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of civil materials such as concrete, steel, rebar, formwork and finishes.
• Coordinate subcontractor selection, negotiation and contract administration.
• Maintain and operate ERP procurement systems to track orders, deliveries and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs and mitigate supply risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil materials and large‑scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with local construction suppliers and market rates.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
