Procurement Executive - FMCG

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Procurement Executive for a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company in Dubai. The role covers sourcing, purchasing and managing the supply of goods and services needed for operations, working closely with suppliers, negotiating contracts and monitoring inventory while keeping costs efficient and quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers through market research, then negotiate contracts, terms and pricing
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery or service issues
• Work with production, inventory and sales teams to plan purchases and generate purchase orders
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder points and lead times to avoid stockouts and excess stock
• Analyze pricing trends and negotiate better prices and payment terms
• Control procurement budgets and ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards and ethical sourcing
• Inspect incoming materials, audit suppliers and drive supplier development and innovation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement or a related field; CIPS certification is an advantage
• Proven procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in FMCG or a related sector
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain principles and industry regulations
