Procurement Executive – Media & Marketing Category

About the role

The Procurement Executive will develop and implement sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories, managing an annual spend of over AED 100 million while ensuring compliance with Al Futtaim’s procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories, targeting cost savings and service level improvements.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and select optimal sourcing approaches.
• Manage high‑value supplier relationships and strategic vendor contracts, ensuring commercial and legal protection.
• Monitor procurement compliance, assess risks and drive performance improvement initiatives with key suppliers.
• Partner with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Finance and Corporate Services to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualification or recognized procurement/supply‑chain certification is a plus.
• 4‑5+ years of experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing, preferably within Marketing and Advertising.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring or leading a team of procurement professionals.

Required skills

• Advanced negotiation and category strategy development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and e‑sourcing/ERP systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional relationship building.
