Procurement Officer (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our Business/Procurement team in Abu Dhabi on a long‑term basis. The role focuses on tendering, contract support, and vendor management within a process or O&M environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of contract strategies in coordination with TO & RO.
• Prepare Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, including commercial terms and conditions.
• Prepare price segregation schedules aligned with contract nature.
• Manage enquiries, tender clarifications, and receipt of bids.
• Conduct commercial evaluations and recommend the most competitive contractors.
• Lead and support negotiations on price, scope, and contractual terms.
• Advise on contract pricing, budget control, and cost optimisation.
• Maintain accurate, auditable procurement and contract records.
• Initiate and manage vendor assessment and preferred contractor development.
• Maintain and continuously update vendor databases.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE, IMS, Ethics, and Business Continuity requirements.
• Represent ITM O&M professionally during negotiations, claims, and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or warehouse operations.
• CIPS certification is preferable.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and processes.
• Experience with Maximo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
