Procurement Specialist – Emirati Talent

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage both local and international purchasing of technical items for Edge, ensuring that all procurement activities align with company policies, ISO standards, and UAE national objectives. This position is critical for supporting the country’s growing defence and industrial sectors and is aimed at UAE nationals seeking a strategic supply‑chain career.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full procurement cycle, from purchase requisitions to purchase orders, contracts, and ERP updates.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal quality, cost, delivery and service terms.
• Prepare, review and finalize procurement documentation, including contracts, NDAs and supplier correspondence.
• Coordinate with internal teams, logistics providers and inspection units to guarantee timely delivery and product qualification.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company and ISO requirements.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues that arise.

Required profile

• UAE national or candidate with a strong commitment to national supply‑chain resilience.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably with at least five years handling technical purchases.
• Familiarity with international and local supplier markets and contract management.
