Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead the procure‑to‑pay process for FJ Group, supporting MEP, HVAC, manufacturing and industrial operations. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost optimisation to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services for projects and factories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project timelines and production needs.
• Source raw materials such as copper, aluminum, steel, chemicals, plastic resins and consumables, as well as mechanical and electrical components, pipe, fittings, valves, hardware, insulation and industrial parts.
• Manage the RFQ process, evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules, and issue purchase orders.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, monitor market trends for steel, copper, HVAC components and other industrial materials.
• Source, qualify and develop suppliers; maintain strong relationships and conduct performance evaluations and vendor audits.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, warehouse and project teams to ensure material availability and handle urgent procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, maintain procurement documentation, contracts and approvals, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in commodity management and international sourcing within MEP, HVAC, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of MEP/HVAC and metals.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Focus or Odoo.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
