Procurement Specialist

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing of goods and services for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management at the plant level in Abu Dhabi. The role reports directly to a supervisor and contributes to cost containment, efficiency, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sourcing strategies in line with Category Management policies.
• Issue purchase orders based on material requirements from manufacturing, field operations, or projects.
• Create RFQs and manage competitive bidding to secure optimal quality, delivery, and price.
• Implement local procurement agreements not covered by Category Management.
• Assess and monitor supplier performance.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a production environment.
• Advanced procurement certification (e.g., CPM) preferred.
• Knowledge of Purchase‑to‑Pay processes is desirable.
