Product Compliance & New Product Approval Lead

About the role

Network International seeks a senior product‑governance leader to strengthen compliance across its product portfolio and drive the New Product Approval Process (NPAP) from submission through closure.

Key responsibilities

• Translate card‑scheme mandates into clear product requirements and maintain end‑to‑end oversight of product compliance.
• Own and improve the Product Compliance Tracker, assessing impact on customer experience, roadmaps, and commercial outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate non‑compliance risks, reduce scheme‑penalty exposure, and provide executive updates.
• Chair the NPAP Steering Committee, align cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure timely decision making and closure.
• Monitor funnel performance, recommend improvements, and lead automation and AI‑enabled governance initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Risk, Law, Technology or related field; professional credentials advantageous.
• Extensive experience in product governance, compliance, risk or payments within fintech or financial services.
• Proven ability to interpret card‑scheme mandates and convert them into actionable product requirements.
• Leadership of cross‑functional governance bodies and experience chairing steering committees.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycles, risk acceptance, and executive reporting.
